The Orphan's Gift | video · color · single channel · 16/10 · 28’ · 2018

The video confronts the structure of the French language with the discovery of architect Dan Eytan's brutalist tower in Jerusalem, Migdal Ha-ïr. The traumatic journey of a child during the Algerian War alleviates both the tower and the French language to a sacred level, through body movements, words, and introspective testimonies.
